I've got the super stallion on an '89. Easy to install, did it by myself. Had to do some tweaking for my strut tower brace, other then that very simple.

I have tru fiber hood, has the ram air your talking about. Very well built. Perfect fitment. Looks and functions great. The only drawback i found was that the louvers are not removable. Didnt know that until i received it. Either way its an amazing hood!

Default ,,,,,,,

The weight is a decent amount less then the stock hood. The one I have feels like nothing. I would advise on getting pins for your hood though, the light weight gets lifted in the wind. Almost had mine pop up on me, noticed it shaking and slowed down just as it lifted from the latch. Nothing happened, but could of easily had a problem. Shame to lose a new hood or wreck the whip over a simple fix. Install them prior to painting. Good idea to have frame checked out and straightened (if needed) prior also.

Carbon Fiber hoods may weigh less not sure to be honest but most of the TruFiber hoods are Fiberglass and they weigh slightly more than the stock aluminum hoods but will never corrode. yah
