Headers and Gaskets and Bolts and Tools
#11
The worst part of my header install was having to turn all the nuts and bolts without a ratcheting wrench... Overall it was pretty simple. I installed shorties but to be honest I dont see long tubes being much harder. They are bigger obviously but you have plenty of clearance one you jack up the motor a tiny bit and get the steering shaft out of the way.

Damn! Where was that post when I installed my headers. Between this thread and timmbo's write-up you should be good to go.
The only things I would add are...
4) Get the 13mm ratcheting wrench AND also get one for whatever size the new locking fasteners are. Craftsman or kobalt. One with the flex head will also help out.
5) It will be next to impossible to use a torque wrench on most of the lower fasteners due to clearance/interference; that’s what the flex ratchet wrenches are for.
6) Use 4 jackstands so you can raise the whole car, will make life much easier for you (you have to have a lot of room to get the old manifold and exhaust pipes out and put the new headers in)
7) With no creeper get some carpet or something. Your gonna be under that car for a while.
8) Once your headers are installed expect a lot more engine noise
9) Be prepared to retorque all of the fasteners at least once
