Got mine done in Merrillville."Show US Your Tints" Paid $95 They used one piece back window, which is important.I stuck with 30% all around and they used SunGard brand.Looks great!
Took them about 3 hours and came with a lifetime warranty.
I had 15% on my first Mustang and it was like being in a cave,to dark for me.Just right now.

i say do 25%, no one will be the wiser

cant hurt to take it to the dealer for 30% since i assume they wont do 25%, at least your assured they know what they're doing.

Haha yeah I feel like 25% too, but I gotta keep my location in mind... When I'm back at the parent's house there is a good chance of cops nitpicking at me and getting one of those annoying Fix-It tickets... Man, I wish I could go 20-25%, it looks like the perfect balance.

I think I'll be going 30 since it is the legal in Indiana, and I doubt cops will stop me for 5 or so % over in other states... I did not know dealerships do tint, I'll have to ask mine about that too then.

Hopefully I can get some better quotes this weekend lol.
Police trouble? Not at all lol https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...f-the-day.html

Bad luck with this stang, no trouble with the 35% on my V6, it's the legal limit in Nevada anyway. I'm replacing my current 15% to 35% next month, hopefully it's dark enough for me.

Ugh that sucks goodfun! I hate police trouble, it's not even the tickets I worry about, it's more that I am still under 20 and my insurance will skyrocket with a ticket under my belt...

Your car looks amazing btw, I saw another thread where you had some shots, and vids of it and the dark tint looked beautiful on that color.

Yeah, sucks but o'well, if I absolutely hate 35%, I will just go get it approved and then have it replaced with 15% and just roll down my window when a cop is anywhere in sight - don't care if he's 100 yards away haha.

Thanks man, you've got a great car yourself. When I was under 20 two years ago, I had a, um, oh yeah, no car lol I was borrowing my parents. 2011 V6 last year at 21, traded in for 2012 5.0 shortly before I turned 22.

It's what I received. Officer gave me the location where I have to go and have someone come out to my car with a tint meter and approve that it's of legal limit and they void the ticket.

And yes eff the police, more specifically the officer I encountered.

I got 3M on mine last year around October. 5% on the back windows and 20% on the side windows. Paid $80 and I have not had any problems with it (aside from a few scratches, but I've read that that's a problem with everyone). They did it in like 30-40 minutes.
