Anybody ever have an issue when you plug in your xcalibrator tuner and it does not power on? I have my tuner that I have not used in a while and when I tried it the other day, it would not power on.

If I plug it into my computer via USB it will power on though.

Anybody ever see this?

Try plugging it in a couple times, and just make sure it's seated solidily on the OPII port. I had that happen a time or two with my X3 but just turns out I didn't have it all the way on.

If it is seated properly, and still not getting power, I'd try plugging it into another vehichle just to see if it will power on. If it does, then possibly issue with your OBII port, if it doesn't, gotta call SCT tech at 407 774-2447

Thanks Franchi, I am pretty sure I had it seated properly, but it does'nt hurt to give it another shot.

Yeah sometimes the contact pins get bent slightly. I've heard that there is a fuse related to the OBII port but when I looked at my fuses when I was having the issue with my X3, I didn't find it.

SCT charges $65 to repair a unit if it's actually defective like that.
