Not as cold here in Fl. but mine will do the same after sitting a while. I found that the rear breaks seem to "stick" a bit and the clunk is them releasing. I experimented by setting them at a different pressure and it changed some. Mine only does it very seldom so I am not worried about it.

My 95 does the same thing when it is cold here in Idaho, it's like it takes a second for the pads to actually release off the rotor after I take off the emergency brake. Just does it once and then I dont hear it again until the next time it sits for awhile so I never really worried about it.

I usually drive my car once a week. I have my foot on the brake pedal when I release the e-brake. When I put the car in gear and take my foot off the brake pedal, I get a clunk for the initial movement. If I stop to run errands, I don't notice it happening for the rest of the day.

Happens to my auto all the time. When I put it in reverse to get out of the garage/driveway, I hear the clunk and then my brakes creak a little as I move. I am getting new slotted/drilled rotors and HPS pads today, so we will see if that helps it.

raining + freezing = your e-brake cables are going to freeze up. There is a TSB for 2005 cars, which should have been taken care of on your car, but I did the TSB on my car and two years later the cables are freezing again when it's wet and cold out.

I just park with the ebrake off for the winter months.

Boondoggie is 100% right. Its the parking brake cable freezing because the boot on the cable itself near the caliper starts to open up to the elements causing it to freeze. You can have them replaced or replace it yourself (takes about 30 mins on your back) or not use the parking brake until you are inclined to replace.

Well I got my pads and rotors and I did not hear the sound for about 2 days, and now it is back.

That's because Boondoggie was right, it's the e-brake cable (at the caliper) seizing up. The clunk you are hearing is when the parts get forced to release as you roll. Even though the TSB is specifically for 05/06, some newer models may ocassionally get it too.
