Default Trading in the '10 for a '13

Going to trade in my '10 V6 Premium for the new '13 V6 Premium. Any ideas on what I should expect to get for my '10? It will have 30,000 miles at trade in time and is really in great condition. And for anyone with an '11 up should I expect some better gas mileage? When do the new ones start hitting dealers?

I hear the 2013s should be available in March. they are going to build 12s until Feb, make some factory changes in late feb, and start building and shipping in March.

pure heresay, though.

Great. Looking to trade in probably in late April/May.

i donno bout how much you should expect for trade in, but going from the 4.0 -> 3.7 would be great both performance wise and fuel economy wise, your looking at almost 100 more hp right there. mpgs arnt bad either mine gets 28ish on the hwy but only like 20 city, 23 mixed but i do drive a lot for city stop n go

you are well ahead of the game, then. I told myself the same then I ended up jumping on a 2012 after seeing a 12' CS next to a gt500 and seeing the two front end styles side by side.

not sure what your trade in will be worth, but it'd be worth more sold privately. since you are planning it out so far in advance it may not be a terrible idea to attempt to sell it privately first : )

reference KBB, NADA and truecar for ideas. compare them to the local market on autotrader for similarly equipped cars and make your best informed estimate on value.

My guess is they offer you $12,500. The auction houses get so many V6's from rental companies it drops the value.

Expect a terrible trade value, no doubt about it.

Expect no more than 13K or so. A 2010 v6 can be sold easily for 15K around Northern VA.

Little disappointing was hoping to get $16k and put down $4k in cash so I could keep my payment around $180 a month.
