Default Gas mileage in your supercharged stang?

So I finally calculated it and got 16.4 mpg, I do all in town driving, and 1/3 of this tank that was spent on the interstate but I gunned it a few times and was stuck barely rolling for 30 minutes, so i'll say it was nearly all in town.

I'm quite surprised, I drive soft and slow when it's cold, but get on it at least twice a day, sometimes a lot more. My gas light started to flicker on when I still had 2.5 gallons left, so I plan to let it run emptier this time I check mpg.

Mine was much better on the JDM tunes, now on a custom tune with larger injectors and Mass air my milage sucks compared to the JDM tunes. I'm taking it in for this exact reason. Erik

That sounds about right. When I putz around town I get around 17 mpg. When I hit the highway I'm usually about 23.5 (all calculated).

Edit: Paxton HO, 3.55 gears

Good to see I'm not the only one.
I get around 14-16 mpg average with the Paxton, LT Headers, and 3.73 gears.

I always thought there was something wrong with my car.

Less than 10mpg. Mostly loading/unloading off the trailer and going down the 1/4 mile.

Yep, about what I get...but I like to go into boost!! That said, I still get more MPH/gal in my Stang than in my V8 - 4Runner, and I drive that like a girl!

Holy crap... how much whp are you putting down?

It's amazing that i'm getting over 16mpg when stock 4.6L is 15 city and 23 highway with average of 18.
It seems like once you get into boost, that your MPG doesn't necesarily get 'better', but you are able to squeeze a lot more power with only slightly more fuel. Essentally i'd be getting the same mpg if I werent boosted.

I was average in the low 20's until I added the GT500 pumps and 3.5 inch pulley. But now the best I muster is 17ish.
