Default 2005 conv (heated Seats)

I have a 2005 Conv with Black Leather Interior.... ( i had a land rover discovery & there were no heated seats , but I found out that if you removed a panel the vehicle was already wired for it - -i just had to buy the switch & plug it in)

Does anyone know if the Mustang is like that also . Pre Wired & just ready for a Plug in switch ?

Thanks
GENE

I don't believe so - the heat is provided by a panel that I've not seen on cars when the seat upholstery has been pulled off for a swap. The wiring may be under the seat, but not "in" the seat - although I've had my seats in and out of the car several times and never saw anything extra except the pig tail for side air bags.

Heated seats werent available 'til 2007 or 2008, so your car wont be prewired for them. I think Church might male the best kit.

if you have an advance auto parts by you, you can get the Dorman aftermarket seat warmers. I have them in my truck and they are awesome. order online using coupon codes and pickup in store and you have a great deal on them.

Don't know prices, but just did a quick google search. My dad has been asking me if there was a kit like that, just never got to looking around. Thanks!

ive taken out my seats a few times, and there is a wiring pigtail under the seats, but i couldnt be certain if its for heated seats. there definitely is not any wiring in the seat for it, your best bet is pulling it out of a wrecked car

When I was in my center console I saw a few loose empty plugs that were tied down. Any idea what they are for?
