Damn. At the rate I'm going, it will be 323 years before I match your mileage. Good to know it will be mostly trouble free!

Cool story indeed. Those cars keep on ticking.
And nearly 200K miles on one clutch is unreal!
I know it's mostly HWY miles but still...

I've never had a clutch last this long. It is a lot of highway but once I reach my destination city to work, the car gets a lot of stop and go for 2 - 3 hours at a time.

That is music to my ears...I have a whopping 23K on my 2007. It's a weekend garage queen as I drive my 2000 Explorer during the week (178K). That is going to change in a year and a half when my daughter starts driving as there is NO WAY she will be driving the pony. I do look forward to driving the Mustang more and am glad to hear these things are reliable. Mine has been trouble free, as should be expected for only 23K. Continue to keep us posted on how she does!

Wow, that's a lot of stop and go. Your clutch is really good then.

wasvette post some lightning pics up when you get a chance!

I bit the bullet and traded in my 2008 Mustang for a 2012. The 2008 had 121,000 miles on it and it was a great car with no real problems. I felt like the car could have gone 200,000-300,000 miles with no problems.

It sure is refreshing to read this story about how trouble-free someone's properly taken care of, Mustang can be.
Seeing the usual story describing all the problems (of abused cars, most likely), sure gets old.
