I took my Mustang to a mechanic today to do a checkup, just to see if it had any issues. He looked it up and down for about an hour and I was with him too (learning a bit). He said the battery, ball joints, control arms all look brand new...fluids are all new and topped off, and the car doesnt seem to have any issues. I asked about the notorious water leak and he stuck his finger in the drain thing and said it was clean. I then asked him about the chirping sound and he checked out the pulleys and belts and said the Idler Pulley needs to be changed, and maybe even the drive belt. Other than that, he says it looked fine. He also said it might need an alignment.
