Is the harness needed for the OEM HIDs?

+1 on the halogens...
You need the OEM HID housings, the OEM HID ballasts and the OEM HID bulbs.
They should plug right into the OEM non-HID harness...
As the pic would indicate...

Lem I will do that tonight. Sigh, I guess I will be searching around for the harness then. I went to the Tousley Ford website but didn't know what specific part it was.

heres a few angles of the lights, they have a little blue tint to them in person i believe due to the way the light housing is which imo look better then any aftermarket lighting housing for our cars but they look white in these photos, yours in your photos look more yellow/halogen to me

Wow that looks pretty cool, how did you get the projectors in the OEM light housing? The only complaint i have about the factory HIDs is that the lense is too close to the fog lights and they should be on that side like yours. Your pass side parking light looks different though from the other side?

The only way to retrofit HIDs into the OEM headlights is to heat up the headlights and pry the cover lenses off the lights. Then, you install the Morimotos. The head light reflector was blacked out, but we kept the turn signal reflector the original "chrome" Check out sickhids.com. You can do this yourself, but sickhids does such a great job on the harness, that it appears factory made. My lights do not flicker, throw a fantastic, steady beam, and I believe, based upon lumen output, are better than the OEMS.
Check out theretrofitsource.com if you want to do everything yourself. There are full instructions on the web.
If your car is a daily driver like mine, buy a good OEM set of lights from ebay. Get the V6 lights, and send them off to sickhids.com. Mine cost $580.00. You will not be disappointed with the quality. He has a large backlog, so it will take some time to get your lights done. I wish I'd taken pictures of the wiring loom as it was a very professional job.

This would be a much better way imo than retrofitting HID projectors. Is this verified as possible, and if so, where can you buy the OEM hid housings, ballasts and bulbs?
