Nitrous question.. Nx nitrous plate.
Does anybody have this setup? Do they like it? And what's the advantage with it? I'm picking up a nitrous setup from my buddy he took it off his Honda civic (which is no ricer it's bada$$) and am going to install it on my car after I get a window switch and a new tune.. But I found a nitrous nx plate for sale and was thinking about that for the car as well.. Need some input yes or no?

Are you asking about a specific setup, or nitrous in general? If you're asking if anyone has the same setup as whatever is on your buddies Honda, you'll have to be more specific about what that setup is for someone to answer.

Sorry I was rushing when I posted it. Ok he has an nx nitrous setup it has everything to run it (plurge, lines, arming switch, solenoids, full bottle etc).. Now my question was do you need a window switch? Or is it just safe precautions to have one?.. And i was asking when I pick up the kit from him, I found an nx nitrous plate the throttle body spacer one. And I was wondering if it would be a good buy like does it work better or have any advantages over regular lines and solenoids setup.. Idk if I explained well enough

Anytime you run nitrous I think a window switch is a "must have". You don't want the nitrous firing off at too low an rpm so unless you are going to
burnout
stage
launch
watch tach
hit the nitrous button
then you need the window switch to watch the rpm for you and then let the nitrous fire off.
The Zex kit uses a "nitrous management unit" control module that is supposed to learn when you are at WOT and not let it fire. But I found out it will decide that WOT happens pretty low. I had it armed and thought I'd just rely upon the NMU. I prestaged, armed the system, brought the rpm up to 1500 to stage - and the NMU decided that was WOT and fired off.
