Default Anyone use their stang for drifting?

I take mine out to the local track on track days but they sometimes have what they call drift days where they setup short cones to make a track in an open lot so you don't have anything to run into. Was thinking about setting up my stock rims with some cheaper tires to go out there one day.

Was a fun and crazy day. The dealership owners and managers loved it. You should have seen the crowd they pulled. There was a Mustang car show in the front lot and they asked us to do this, until the police showed up.

BTW, are you going to come to the TRUFIBER open house?

I just noticed how bright and clean my car was that day. That was the day we did the photoshoot fr the 5.0 magazine article.

Why would the cops care since it was on private property?

I've started autocrossing.. what fun! Unfortunately I have an issue with braking and throttle control.. I come into corners too hot, scrub off too much speed and make up for it by applying too much throttle..

More than once after what I thought was a good run, I'd do this stupid lack of control bit, and then just have fun after that point (time was blown anyway). Real easy to drift these cars. Not real easy on the tires.

I've saved these Goodyears for autocrossing since I've bought Bullitts..
