Ok, poll everyone, what's the maximum amount of gas you've ever put in your tank. I think it was about 13.5 for my 2014 GT... I can't imagine there's a 16 gallon tank in there.

Every vehicle is set up this way to help prevent the stupid people from going to far before running out of gas.
Its kinda like setting your clocks ahead by 5 or 10 minutes so you wont leave late. Its just a mental thing. Nothing more.
