Default 2011 Mustang GT Procharger 9.76@140 daily driver

Need2speed.com had a track rental yesterday so we took Joe Coffeeman's Mustang out to see how the new Air to water intercooler would help out. With all the new power, the converter needs some work. But with about .05 off in the 60' and alot of slip down track he got a new best of 9.76@140. We also got to weigh the car for the first time in race trim and it tipped the scales at 3876 lbs.

The basic recipe is

Ford Racing Aluminator 9.5:1 crate engine
D1 Procharger at 20 psi
Boss Intake
Custom air to water
Circle D Converter
E85
275s
Stock Transmission

Already have an F1 ready to bolt on. That with the new converter and a little suspension work, should be a low 9 second car all day long.

Here are some pics, working on getting a copy of the video

Always happy when you run a new best.

BIG THANKS to Sharad Raldiris for the pics!

Thanks and No! I built and was the crew chief for this car for years and drove it often. Watch the whole video. If those tires leaving the ground got our attention, you'll like this. The second part has in car footage.
