Default REVIEW: SCT + BAMA Tunes from AM

Just got my SCT SF3/X3 Power Flash Tuner last night from AmericanMuscle.com had it come with 87 Street, 91 Performance, and 91 Race.

Loaded the 87 Street first, very nice smooth and a little added power.

Loaded the 91 Performance next, absolutely amazing! The car pulls so much harder now. I'm running a C&L CAI, Ram Air Hood from TruCarbon and the stock 2.73 gears. Now I can't wait to put in either 3.55's or 3.73's

The first time I uploaded a tune it took about 8-10 minutes, now each time I switch a tune its about 4-5 minutes. Best $380.00 spent!

Order Rating: 5/5
Ease of use rating: 5/5
Overall Rating: 5/5

Another great product!

Awesome review! Thanks for taking the time to post up. A CAI/Tune combo from Bama is the first mod anyone should make to their S197. Glad that it worked out nicely for you. Let me know if you have absolutely any other questions or ever need updates! Thanks again!

Congratulations on the purchase. Good to hear another satisfied customer. How many days from the order date did you have to wait before it was in your hands? Looking forward to the day I finally make the jump. I'm gonna wait until my commute goes from 90 to maybe 20 miles a day to save a little on the fuel costs.

The tune will actually boost mileage if anything.

If you drive conservatively......Once I uploaded my tune, I think I lost gas mileage due to stomping on the throttle (a lot more) to feel the new added power!! LOL

I don't think your situation is out of the ordinary haha. Around town I definitely think I get worse mileage now with my tune, but only because I definitely get into the throttle more. On a longer commute though, changes would be marginal in either direction.
