Default Dead miss on cold start

After sitting all night with 30F or lower temps... There's a dead miss on start up.

Won't do it while sitting at work, has to be overnight.

Won't do it all the time, but the colder it is, the more likely the dead miss.

Blows raw fuel, so it's a fire problem.

Does this for 10-20 seconds. Runs perfect afterwards.

Never a stumble after it clears up (so not a connection issue).

Won't toss a code.

Buddy that's into race cars told me to kill the engine after a few seconds and hit each exhaust flange with an IR gun and look for the cold one.

So, looks like #2 and #6 are dead missing. Cylinders directly opposed from each other. I'll swap these COPS to other cylinders to see if it follows the COP.

Any other ideas?

Cold based tuning file can be adjusted to run different cam timing and fuel/spark trims on cold starts. It's very common on cars like ours to have cold starting issues after they have been tuned.

But then again, I don't know if you are tuned cause I can't see your sig.

A tune issue? I've got Hot Rod cams and FRPP CAI with 93 Bama tune.. If this is a possibility I'll shoot AM an email... Sounds funny, but worth looking into...
