Just want to thank all of you for your support. I am amazed how this community responded .... some great replies... the pm'd mechanic and legal advice, even seems a rep from Ford responded on this thread. I had no idea so many people would be interested in my issues. I really thought it would take a black hat campaign like no other to rank first page google for every key word I can think of and a Social media and PR Tsunami to get Ford to reach out... (advice: never **** off a guy who does SEO for a living)...
funny... as I type this the commercial for Ford came on where they media blitz the "surprised" Ford Owners... I thought to myself what an interesting earful they would get from me if I happen to be the one they interviewed...LOL..
Thanks again, if anyone is interested I will keep you posted...

Heh.
Ford + customer service do not exist.
My 05 had $16,000 worth of warranty work done on it before it was even 2 years old.
They rebuilt a tranny twice before giving me a new tranny and that was like getting blood from a rock.
The shop foreman , general manager and service advisor were so happy when my warranty expired.

Id agree with that.. my mom (Ford family I guess) has a 06 Ecsape with 36k miles.. like 500 miles over warranty... transmission blows up on her while driving home.. 5k later, shes got a new trans... seriously Ford.. a blown trans at 36k? thats the best you can do?

The trannys in the escapes are hit & miss. Tons of issues with them and the throttle body on the Escapes.

I should have been more active posting about my convertible top when i was trying to work with Cill Collins Ford in Louisville. I took it in for the top 3 times, and the damn thing still isnt right. They told me Ford wouldent allow them to do more to the top so I was out of luck even though it was still in bumper to bumper.

man, i feel for you. before i had my first mustang, i drove an 05 escape i bought off my sister. thing was in and out of the dealership for a major engine problem, and then a tranny problem. Finally the dealership got in touch with ford told them they had a lemon and ford gave me all the money the car was paid for ($25,000) toward a brand new ford. the car was also 2.5 years old. anyway it worked out in my favor. ford would much rather buy the car from you then have a car reported as a lemon
