Respect the Ride and you'll be fine.... don't get too complacent too quick!

Great Buy. Enjoy this car. You will remember it forever. But, if the temptation is too high for you, you can always use this... http://vimeo.com/36225520 and throttle it down a bit until you get more experience...

Just my 2 Cents (CDN)... lol

Congrats on the car. My first car was an MG-A. A lot of fun. Not anything like a Mustang, however!

I would suggest that you take some high performance driving classes so you can understand how to competently handle the car. I'm not sure what is in Nevada, but there are several in So. Cal. and Miller Motorsports is just outside of Salt Lake. It will be well worth the time and effort. You'll be competently driving the car the way it should be driven, while your friends are wrapping theirs around trees!

Also, where it helps is getting the need to just open it up out of your system. A couple days of 130+ down the straight, and braking into a hairpin, gets it out of your system for awhile. (caution - it is addicting!)

Here's a couple of links. http://www.millermotorsportspark.com...ng-school.html

The 2013 GT/CS has a stereo that gets louder as you accelerate which increases the dramatic poop your pants factor and enlarges the irises.
This will really scare an unaware passenger. The 13 has Bembro's, 3.73 Thorson Pos, Boss radiator and Oil cooler, an up 420 hp (yeah only 8 hp
more) Ever price an 8 hp outboard, $1-2K.

Also the suspension and steering tighten-up as you speed-up.

As Hans Solo said to me along time ago - Don't get cocky kid.

Frank are you posting just to get your post count up? (and post mis-spelled mis-information?)

The '13 GT/CS does not have Brembo brakes, nor does it come with a Torsen Differential. It also doesn't come with a Boss radiator or oil cooler.

The suspension is not electronic and doesn't tighten as you speed up. The steering doesn't really either, just has the different damping modes.
