Default Bad stock tune

I took the supercharger off my 06 mustang to sell the car.put the stock tune back in and now it's throwing a p0466 code and the wrench light comes on and it goes into limp mode.two different shops have looked at it and haven't been able to fix it.so I put a tune in it for when my headers were on it and no more problem.just for laughs I put the sc tune in and no problem other than a little rich feeling.so do you think I have a problem with the stock tune and need to reflash it or what?h

You mentioned headers - does that mean you don't have any cats? The code has to do with the emissions system.

The sc tune probably had the cat signal turned off, and the stock tune is looking for that signal if they are removed.

Did you even look up what p0466 is?
What other mods do you still have? Was the evap system deleted or vacuum line disconnected from it?
Injectors? Did you put those back to stock ones? A stock tune wont 'go bad' on a fully-returned-to-stock car.

The car is as it left the factory, completely stock.the evap has been checked and there are no vacumn leaks.i know a stock tune isn't supposed to go bad but why is the problem not showing up when I put the other tunes in it with no changes to the car other than the tune, put stock tune back in and get the wrench light and cel light?just doesn't make since.

How did you get ahold of the "stock" tune? Did you get a tuner and then upload tunes from it and let it capture the existing tune as the stock tune? Chances are the pcm didnt have a stock tune in it, or the 'stock' tune was even for a different pcm (less likely, but possible).

As noted in your other posts in other forums (where you're getting similar advice), if the shop that did your tune cant pull all the DTCs, they dont know WTF they're doing with your car.
