Default Fog light wiring

I just installed a billet grille on my 07 v6 and I previously had the stock GT grille with the fogs that were wired to my light switch. Since I was no longer using them I cut the harness off and now there's two wires floating around that were left over. Is it okay if I just put electrical tape over the ends? Or do I have to take them completely out? Thanks.

I'd tape them but I'd also pull the fuse. Here's the wiring diagram: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=40&viewfile=Fog Lamps.pdf

Or pull the foglight relay, and tape the cut ends, making sure the cuts do not contact each other nor the frame.

I like to fold the end of the wire about an inch and cover about 2 inches with with heat shrink. Tape will eventually slide off when it gets hot, might take ten years.

Heat shrink is your friend. Do it right. If not, possibe electrical gremlins are in your future.
