so i just bought the C&L CAI and the bama tuner... you guys are killing me.. i'm trying to wait patiently, but you guys are making it difficult not to flip out!

i got an 87 street, 89 performance, and 93 race tune.. now, does street, performance, and race all mean different types of tunes, or are they just naming styles to help you differentiate things? for example, would a 87 race tune be more powerful than an 87 street tune?

i already filled my mustang up with 93 octane in preparation, but i'm just curious... lord this is gonna be fun.

I don't believe they have an 87 race tune, but yes, it goes street, performance, then race. The higher the octane and higher on that scale, the more power. They also say certain tunes have more power in different rpms, such as performance is low-mid where race is mid-high, but I think I'll be running race all the time.

I just got a used Diablo tuner and all I can say is WOW. I loaded their pre-loaded 93 performance tune and it really brought the car to life!!!

I've been running Bama tunes and they've been jacked up a little. If your car isn't running perfect, call and have them double check the mods in your tune. They've put the wrong intake on mine four times now when I called for an updated tune.

I got mine in about a week, and they shipped a paper with it that showed exactly what I ordered.

Well, they were waiting for me to submit my info, and once I finally told them I didn't have access to the car as it was at school, it shipped out Monday and they just came in today. So 2 days for me. For you I'd guess there's a good chance you'd have it Saturday.
