Congrats dude.
I recently bought th JLT series 3 intake along with the Bama tune and man... what a difference. Coming from the stock "87 tune" to the Bama 87 tune was wow!! Burned through that tank and made my way to the 93 octane... damn!! Hold on!!

I got mine early today and frankly I am not impressed. using 87 performance the only thing I noticed was it shifts at redline and the shift is quite firm. but I have a question for you guys that have this. I know it reads dtc codes, but will it read DTC codes from other cars or will it only do mine?

I'm iinterested in getting a Bama tuner, are the 87 89 91 and 93 grades of gasoline? And will it improve your gas mileage with the use of higher octane?

Yes the number is the octane of gas, you can always put higher octane and run lower tune... But you can't run a high octane tune with low octane gas

I believe if I'm not mistaken that it can read codes from any car.

I had to learn how to redrive the car when I got my tunes.

I need to update, the couple weeks I have been driving it with the 87 performance tune, it has turned into a raped ape! its nuts how it feels now. and it sounds like I have a custom exhaust now even though its stock, it really roars when you get on it. and if you're driving slow, it literally feels like the car is talking to you saying "Let go! Punch it!"
