Default Decided to risk the no front plate option.

As many of you know of the last thread I posted about Texas requiring front plates, I decided to order a plate from American Muscle and stick it on there. IMO it looks great besides not being able to be seen too much in pictures as it is fully black. What are your opinions on it? Does it look better than my customized plates there?

IMO, if you're going to go without a plate take off the entire mounting assembly. Otherwise you might as well put your state tags back on there. Yours don't look bad anyway, because they are black.

If you take it off aren't there holes left that were there to mount it?

Ya'll state very valid points. In the next 6 months I am going to have the front switched to the GT bumper anyways and I wouldn't be putting another regular bracket back on it. So I might as well put the state tag back on.

If you put a new front bumper on, consider this option for mounting the plate without holes:

I was thinking of that route, how well do these stay on at speeds 75+?
