Default Backspacing? Cheapest Rims for radials!

Hey guys

Im trying to find the LEAST expensive option for drag radial rims for my 2012 gt.

I really dont care what they look like at all or how much they weigh, just wanna toss some radials on em and bolt em on and drive to the track. Looking at 15x8s.

What is the smallest amount of backspacing that would fit on the car?? I found some cragers with the backspacing of 3.75" but i dunno if thatll fit.

http://www.jegs.com/i/Cragar/260/365...ductId=1021337

those are the ones i was looking at but like i said the backspacing isnt very much.

Thanks!

www.racestarindustries.com If you go with 15x8, you'll need a 5.5" backspace.

Back to this again!!! reopening a can of worms haha.

I picked up some Summit Warriors for my car with the same 5.5" backspace. People are saying they needed spacers to make the wheels not rub on the caliper. They have the Brembo cars or a gt500. So the stock 5.0 brakes shouldnt be an issue here right? The Jegs one rubbed a little only during turns though haha

The rear caliper of a "brembo" is a GT caliper. Brembo is just the front; 4 pistons and 14" rotor.

Yea, scratch that LOL. Just re-read your post and you said turning. So, you're referring to the front.
