Default Traction Control Active On Car not moving at all.

Hello!

I always drive with TCS off. Its a Mustang GT 2007.
The other day I was on a stop light the other day, I pull of the clutch slightly like feather the car and then i see that the Traction light turned on like 2 seconds an dissappear even though the car was almost stop.

Yesterday when i leave work, started the car and normally i wait 3-5 min to warm up and go, when i was depressing the clutch very slow without pressing the accelerator i was in 1st gear and again I see the Traction Control light on for 2 or 3 seconds and dissappear.

Anyone reason why the light turn on or I might have something wrong with my car ?

Thanks!

I've never seen anything like that with mine. The closest was in the rain a while back. Started off from stop easy and just about the time I get to roll, traction control comes on- I didn't know what the hell was happening at first. Must have been especially slippery there.

This has happened to me, the paint used on the roads can be very slippery when it gets wet outside.

Hello Everyone!!

To disconnect the battery i just need to unplug the negative or disconnect the positive too?

Also I noticed that the issue again when the car was cold and then i feather the car but being on second gear not in first, so the RPMs went low and i see the Traction light active on the board. I tried to duplicate after but couldn't do this again, this is happening intermittent.

I will see if today it happens again and maybe could be the parking floors where i park the car.

Thanks!

Hi,

I was able to see when i can see the Traction Active light even when TCS is off.

If i feather the car on second and the car is going to stall i see the light then if i press the clutch the car wont turn off and the light dissappear.

I wonder if this is normal if the car is going to stall when feather on second gear.

Has anyone can try to do that and see if it happens to you ?

Thanks!
