I had a 2007 Jaguar XK8, no turbo, and I agree with what was said in the comparison. One other item, spent a lot of money on maintenance and repair. Car had a lot of mechanical problems due to flaws in design, no avoiding them. Would drop $1500 every time it needed some work.

Wife might say I spend a lot on the Mustang too, but I don't count that, that's for upgrades, toys, and aftermarket stuff ... the price of keeping me happy.

You know, that lambo I drove last week was a decent car, but with no backseat and that pesky e-gear deal, I'd really prefer the mustang. Besides, it feels too numb, and I think my bicycle gets from 0-10 faster.

My dad also has a jaguar he has a 2008 XK non SC it is a very nice looking car, being non SC it is not as fast as the XKR but its still far from a slouch. I love the look of it and driving it is really fun, I would probably take it over my 4.0 because its faster and higher quality. The interior of it makes my car feel like a toy.

Wholly crap is that an awesome ride or what? Would love to drive one one day cause I could never afford to buy one.

The Jag XKR vs the Mustang is an interesting comparison. Both cars are great cars, however; they are targeted to different demographics. The Jag is seriously a high end luxury vehicle generally older age bracket with lots of money. And as previously stated high maintenance costs. I saw a blacked out XKR at our local dealer absolutely awesome car 142k, I certainly would not throw one out of the garage.

Dollar for dollar the Mustang is hard to beat at any level.

Yep. That's why there's so many of the darn things everywhere, and why we gotta mod em to make em stand out in the crowd...
