Totaled or Not???

Below is totaled...and just barely. The insurance adjuster actually said the true cost to fix would have been less than a payout, however he also said he could NOT, in good faith, let that car be fixed with the frame damage present. Too much of a safety issue. It received a junk title.
Sorry to see the damage and glad you're ok. I walked away from this with zero injuries.

Oh man that looks bad. The safety with these S197s is very surprising, I was never really excited about crumple zones when I first got my mustang (had an OLD car before that) and thought they would just cause more damage and less impact absorption... Guess I was really wrong there!
Even 10K in damages shouldn't get a GT totaled, I thought these cars still went for like 16-20K with the later model years especially? Glad you're ok OP, at least you'll be getting some fresh new paint sans the orange peel.
