I know shakers and ram air isnt a high rated performance concept, but out of curiosity, has anyone used a shaker scoop to feed a procharger or vortech centrifugal SC?

I don't see any reason you couldn't, i'm sure with some searching you'll find someone who tried it.

Saleen did or does make a shaker system for their 05-10 supercharger and it is effective, with their shaker system I believe people see somewhere around 25-30whp increase. but it's been awhile since i looked, maybe it was only 15whp.

+1 Saleen did make a ram air system for their FI system. The gains are only worthwhile when you're traveling at highway speeds. Otherwise there's not enough of an increase of air to make it worthwhile.

You've got to be doing 80+mph for any ram air system to be effective and even then it's minimal

This is what people are talking about from what I can tell. Although it sounds like they are talking about modifying an existing Saleen supercharger based on the fact that they are saying it has minimal gains. This should net you a pretty good gain. I personally want it. Hehe

i know of the shakercharger but thats only for the v8s, not my lowly v6, and the xcharger wont work with a shaker setup, hence why i asked about centri
