I haven't got the tune files for the intake swap yet. That wasn't in the mix till after I ordered the CAI/Tune kit. Freakin cars. I knew there was a reason I haven't driven a Mustang in almost 10 years.

either a faulty tune or somethings going on. check all the connections on the intake?

It was supposed to be tuned for the CAI and exhaust I have. Nothing else. I've checked all connections. Took the system completely out and put it back together. The only thing that is somewhat suspect is the direction of the MAF sensor.

No, I haven't reflashed yet. Decided to step away for the night.

Does your MAF have an arrow on it? If it does then the arrow should be pointing in the direction of intake air flow. Also, I had a problem similar to yours when I installed my CAI/tune and it went away when I disassembled everything, cleaned the throttle body and MAF, and reassembled. It's unlikely but it could be a bad tune. Just throwing ideas your way.

91 Oct shouldn't cause any problems, your best bet is return your car to stock try reloading the tune and if that doesn't work call bama.

One does not simply call banana!

But seriously, time to talk with Bama. Tell them what you're experiencing. They'll be able to tell you if the tunes they sent you were good. First try to return to stock then reload the tune. Takes two minutes, then take a 5 minute test drive.

If Bama tells you that they're tunes were correct (I'd check to make sure you gave them the correct ECU code too...) then maybe it's time to clean that MAF and throttle body then hook her back up.

As far as cleaning and re-oiling an air intake: it's a process that literally takes 20 minutes. I cleaned mine just three weeks ago. You're only supposed to clean it every 50k miles. Really not that big of a hassle.

Call "banana"? Can't wait to see what the banana says lol. Just playing obxdude. Autocorrect? lol

OP, check the MAF arrow (if it has one) then triple check your connection points for the CAI and make sure they are perfectly sealed. It can be misleading because they look fine but might be leaking a tiny bit. After I cleaned everything I could move my intake around and the idle would improve so I knew I had a leak somewhere. Reload the tune (no need to go back to stock and then reload) and try again. If all else fails go back to stock and call Bama/AM like obxdude suggested. Please keep us posted.

^^ D#%! madstang beat me to it!
