Yes, 0 % over 60 months is still out there. A week ago it was 1K off if financed through Ford. That's gone

That right there is $4000 before any the dealer is willing to do. That means they are only cutting the price about $1000. Not much of a price reduction. X-Plan would give you about $2000 off MSRP and you should still qualify for the other discounts/rebates.

Considering everything that has happened with the 2011 you bought, I would be pressing them to consider a better price. Talk about your wasted time, the anguish of watching your brand new ride being broken into about a thousand pieces, and how you are hoping to restore your faith in their dealership.

BTW, I just logged into the X-Plan pricing website (fordpartner.com) and it looks like the X-Plan discount has shrunk a bit atleast compared to what the pricing was a month ago when I started looking at buying mine... maybe because of all the 2012's flying off the lots now that the 2013 is here..

Good luck,
Don
Thanks for all the input so far!
What do you think you bottom line should be on the car?

I don't work in the auto sales industry, so the bottom line I am about to give you has no basis in reality... It is just a range that I would be willing to pay based on what I think it is worth and that may be less than its real bottom line is.

Considering they are giving you so much for your trade, their price may be a little higher to offset their trade in allowance, so ultimately their price is pretty close to what I would be willing to pay for a car optioned that way. However, if there had not been a trade in the equation I think the range at which I would pay for that 2012 would be $32250 to $33500. It's not far from what they are asking, but all things considered, I would think that they would be trying to bend over backwards to make right what they have done... In a nutshell they claimed to do a (insert large number here)point inspection and based on everything that went bad, they know they screwed the pooch on that 2011 trade.

Sounds good! I am going to shoot for this one. I asked them to sell it to me for 31K once they ship in....I have not seen/heard back on numbers yet, nor did they get the car yet. Manager text me last night and said he is waiting on Sandy Springs to return his call. Hopefully, they have not sold the car and my dealer is able to get it.

I'm with you, this is a very odd case and I'm sure it's not common. Hopefully they will take a little hit and sell it for cheaper. I saved them money by not accepting a rental ya know.

The sad thing, the dealer that has my car and got shady on me... I have bought two cars from them.
