And, I have a GT owner metality.. this car needs to grow a pair! But, instead of spending 30k making the top dog, i only gotta spend about 10k.

Is this a base GT with leather? I cannot figure it out. Looks like aftermarket exhaust, what do you think?
It's a premium 400A with the 19" wheels, comfort package, accessory package #4 (scoop and wing) and 3.73 gears. It originally stickered for $36,430.

Your purchase price isn't great but the trade-in is unbelievable. I'd say your net cost is not too bad. If you like the car, it seems like a fair deal.

The reason I asked my question is, for the exact same price, I got, from a ford dealership, my 07 roush stage 3 vert. If you are looking for power, a blower aint cheap... but i got one right off the bat. Same price just a little older but, Roush and gt500 owners baby their cars so mine was garage kept and with 17k miles.
I would love to get something of that nature, even a GT 500. My wife asked that I please stay away from something with 500HP until the kids are out.

Makes enough sense

Yes, trade is high saving $1225 on sales tax as well.

Mustang Club of America...

You have to pay an annual membership fee, but you do get a magazine and atleast the X-Plan discount.

If you aren't already an MCA member, than I would join so you can qualify for X-Plan pricing.

You can't get the 3k discount on top of x-plan can you? btw, if you have a family member such as an uncle that will work for x-plan right?

The reason they are offering a huge trade allowance is because they are ripping you off on the used 2011 .... They just built it in to the other side ...

Does it really even matter that they have the car priced high if he is getting a high trade in value? They just offset each other don't they? I mean if the car was priced lower then they would probably offer a lower trade in value. It would basically end the same right?

I mean it sounds like a good deal to me (although I know very little about buying cars). I mean you will be getting a newer car, probably better if not the same mpg and a better platform for mods.

When buying a car, you can't have both: high trade-in and low selling price. Most of the time, the dealers would give you a high trade-in knowing that you have done research and know your car's worth.

Finding a black on black is hard in GA. Franchise dealers will lower the selling vehicles price because that's the salesmans commission and offer lower trades. That's generally how it works. I did find a white CS for the same price, but don't want white.
