Default Deal or no deal

trading my 07 Satin Silver 5 speed GT, 43K miles with leather and needs tires for a 11 Black with black leather 6 speed with 5K miles for........

$28,998 selling price
trade allowance on my car of $17,498 <- bought with 18K for $19,700 in August 2010.

I think the price is a little high, but damn for the trade allowance.

It's got a hood scoop on it... is there anyway to find out the exact trim?

What's your thoughts?

Yeah, that is a bit high since I can get a 2012 GT Premium @ X-Plan pricing for about that same amount... Plus it's NEW, and still qualify for the $3000 rebate going on now.

If you aren't already an MCA member, than I would join so you can qualify for X-Plan pricing.

Depends.. what are you trying to achieve with the purchase? more power? lower miles? newer car? etc,,,

Good point! I did not realize they were that cheap now. I'm thinking the kicker is the trade allowance.... autotrader online offer was 11,800 lol local dealer offered 14K.

Few things

My 07 was a "hey I gotta buy this now." type deal.

Color, newer, faster, lower miles. Basically starting over.

Is this a base GT with leather? I cannot figure it out. Looks like aftermarket exhaust, what do you think?

Definitely has leather, and appears to be a Premium, as the Premium would have the perforated leather seating, atleast on the front seats.

leather wither aftermarket exhaust..

The reason I asked my question is, for the exact same price, I got, from a ford dealership, my 07 roush stage 3 vert. If you are looking for power, a blower aint cheap... but i got one right off the bat. Same price just a little older but, Roush and gt500 owners baby their cars so mine was garage kept and with 17k miles.
