Would a 20x12 rim fit on the rear?

Take a look at the Shelby GS1 wheels ... 20 x 11's. I run Nitto NTO5r's 315/35/20

It will fit with the correct offset and tire combination. You may want to step down from 345 though. That may be your problem.

to answer the OP's question, yes. 20x12's fit. 345s won't "fit" unless you consider sticking out of the fender 10+mm "fitting"

these are 20x12 rotiform BLQs. et 61 with 3mm spacers here. a watts link should let me take the spacers out. 315/30/20 toyo R888 tire in the rear. rubs the inner fenderwell very very faintly only when the rear end is articulating all the way. the bump stop bracket has been trimmed and the bump stop is relocated. a little bit of the fender liner was trimmed out too.
