I pray you had insurance... Get the VIN and try to find your engine serial, then contact everyone selling 4.6 3v's and ask for the serial.

If you do find them, can I help you beat them until they no longer resemble a person?

Sorry to hear this has happended to you.

Due to being an ex police car, was the motor modified or plain stock?

I have dreams about my car either getting stolen or I can't remember where I parked it! LOL

I hope everthing works out....Good luck!

Yeah, I'll certainly keep an eye out for it, since I live nearby, and that does sound like it's a local deal. IWO a less than on the up-and-up person and/or place with a tow-truck looking for good side of the road picks. Certainly enough junk-yards and the like around.

That is why, no matter what you never leave your car on the side of the road even for 30 minutes nonetheless the WHOLE NIGHT!! I would wait all night for a tow truck before I left my car on the side of the road especially when it used to be a ex-cop car and someone thought it still belonged to them and is out for revenge on the POOOLICE.

Just seems odd to have it stolen like that. I could see it being stolen from your home or place you work, because they would know it's there every day.

Down here, people steal motorcycles. A friend just had his hayabusa stolen and they found the frame a few days later, but nothing else.

Yeah that was really dumb. When I locked myself out of my car at night, I waited with it for 5 hours till a locksmith came.

Well, hindsight is 20/20. I never thought that car theft would be an issue where I am located. I was more worried that someone might drift off the road and hit my black car in the dark, and that wasn't a real concern. Truth be told, if they wanted the car bad enough they could have stolen it out of my driveway.

Hell, I was parked in a police station lot. I still waited for 5 hours with no coat in less than 10 degree weather.

But yeah I see where you're coming from
