Default question on wheel and tire combo

Quick question guys and gals. I have a 12 gt with brembo package with the 19 x 9 wheels. Ive decided to go with the Stock size(255/40/19) up front but want more meat on the back so I ordered 275/40/19 for the rear. Will this tire look fine on the 9in wheel or will it bulge? My tire manager at my work said it would look good and that a 285 would bulge but not the 275. And will my speedo be off any? Tires I ordered are hankook ventus evo k110. Thanks for any help ya'll can give me

According to Tirerack.com, you should be fine. 275/40/19 should fit safely on a 9"-10" wide wheel. Click on the 'specs' tab:

Thanks. I had already checked tire rack but was just asking here to make sure. And see who if anybody else was running this setup and see how they liked it.

Should fit fine, but it's gonna bump you up to a nearly 28" rear tire, effectively reducing your rear end ratio.

I got 3.73 factory gears. Will my speedo be off too?

You should be fine on all concerns. Your speedo might be slower by a couple miles an hour. Not a big deal and you will tack on less miles on your car
