Opinions on what I should do about this dealer.

Update:
I went down to the dealer, I hadn't gotten a call back from the sales manager after calling 4 times, so I figured it was time for an in person visit. I talked with him and got him to search a little further than he was looking and I found the exact car that I paid for, a dealership in dayton has two, so he agreed to swap it out for one. It would seem this is coming to a close but I won't believe it till I see it in writing and have the exact car in my possesion.
And yes, this is a very high volume dealer. And no, you cannot feel the pinstripe, and even if it were above the clear coat, it's paint, and the body shop said that even if it is ontop of the clear coat it's already sunk in and will always be noticable unless it's repainted.

Glad to hear it seems like you may have a solution. I hope this way works out for you.
Do you know the name of the dealer that they got the first car from? I'm very curious as to what dealer would do such a horrible thing to a beautiful car.

I would have told the dealership, "You bring the car here so I can see it first. Then if everything looks good I'll sign the paperwork." If they didn't want to go for that then it's time to walk away and find another dealership.

Clarification, you asked for a GT base model and they gave you a V6?
Due to being there mistake, I would have not accepted the car and demanded a loaner car, until they provide you with the car you requested.
Do not give in and keep at them until you get what you paid for!

Glad it looks like it's getting worked out OP. Lesson learned from this: Don't sign papers on a car you haven't seen . At most, put down a refundable deposit. I recently ordered a new car that was coming from a Japanese factory, and all I had to do was put down $250. Didn't sign any paperwork until the car had come, and I had driven and inspected it.
