exactly.

on top of that - car alarms and firearms, and insurance. I am not worried. people messing with my car should be worried.

TIme once was, everyone had an instinct to stay anonymous on the internet, unless absolutely necesary.

That said, I read a harrowing tale on another forum of a a forum member stealing another members car for the mod parts... sure people on the street can see your plate, but they haven't heard your shopping list.

I had my last name as a plate for a while... didn't seem the smartest thing in the world, since if I pissed anyone off in traffic they wouldn't even have to go to the dmv, just the phone book...

Most definately. Only bad thing, weather has been real crappy here. Haven't washed the car in like 2 weeks (raining every other day or so)..

Ya never know...Know one of the long-timers here, mod, from DE as well (upper) just recently had his newly bought car swiped off the side of the road. Likely towed off and piecemealed. Thread is stickied to this section..

But anyhow...

What are the odds it was stolen by someone who saw the license plate number?

I see no point in blurring my license plate, I have a vanity plate and fairly unique looking/sounding car so not pissing off other drivers is a much higher priority to me.

Just my $.02
