Default 2013 worth the trade?

So I have a 2006 gt vert and so far, I love it. Last year while at American Muscle car show, we sat in a 2011 GT. When compared to my car, it is much more comfortable and i like the interior design better. And the 5.0 is just begging to be driven. So here's my question: Would it be worth is to trade up from my car? I mean my car is all paid off and it has a Cai,Tb,Bama 93 tune, eibach springs, and some other underhood dress-ups. How much faster would it be? And is the interior really all it seems? I know there are some manual tranny problems, but what if I got an auto? I just want your guy's input.
Thanks in advance

I am sure the new 5.0 would be faster, but your car should have what? 360ish HP?(probably charitable) And lets be honest visually the new 5.0 and its past year 4.6's aren't much different. The only people that can really telling them apart driving down the road or even parked is pony car fans. A few more installments to your car and it would be just as fast as the new GT.

That being said, its up to you man. Everyone here knows the new GT's have a bit better parts, faster, and probably handle a tad better stock for stock compared to the older ones. I personally like the 4.6's look over the new 5.0's look, something about the 4.6's just scream retro. I want a 2013 GT, but if I found a good deal on a 05 or 06 GT with lower miles I would settle with it just fine.

If it makes a difference, this is my summer driver. At most it sees about 6,000 miles a year. And no I'm not in debt at all.

If money is not an issue, feel free. Newer is always better, right? :-)

Also, the 2013 will offer a lot more hp, and the actual body design is a little different.

hehe does he have to answer that one? :P I bet like all dealerships they're giving less then they should. I would sale mine before I traded it in because I have yet to find a car lot that will give me normal face value for any of my rides.

I've been running the figures myself, checking my trade value, shopping around online as more 2013's begin showing up on dealer lots. I have only 13000 miles on mine now so I have no need to trade. But that fever hits me every time an updated model comes out. The rational side of my brain is telling me to wait until the 2015 comes along (at least see what it's gonna look like) but the other side is telling me to go down and start haggling today.
