Default 2011 Mustang GT

I just installed the boss 302 intake manifold on my 2011 Mustang GT. I have a C&L CAI, Borla ATAK exhaust, 4:10 gears with a Bama Tune.

At 70 just say you can floor it and it shifts but then at 120 the rpm is at 7200 and it noses off.
If you just accelerate I got out of it at 140 at around 5500rpm's.

Something is causing the rev limiter to kick in at hard throttle, anyone know what this could be?

Does your tune account for the Boss IM? If not, it should.

Other than that, I really don't understand what you're saying. It's barely decipherable.

I'm guessing you have an automatic... Could your overdrive be the culprit?

Sounds like the tune is holding it in a lower gear when you accelerate hard....might try letting up just a bit at the 120 speed to see if it will shift up to overdrive after hard accel.

I talked to the guys at American Muscle today and they said that at full throttle the car will not shift into overdrive. They are going to disect the tune file and get back to me next week.
So what it looks like is that it is ramping up to shift into 5th gear and they may have to back off to around 6800 rpms to see if that is it.

Just puzzling because this did not happen until after I did the intake install and new tune files.
The previous tunes for the mod's I had worked great and I have had the car up to 170 with no problem!
