Bone stock Dyno results 2012 GT, 364hp/381tq
Here are the results of the dyno. Car was BONE STOCK, nothing was done. It's just strange to see the torque being so much higher. It's a 2012 GT M6. Nothing wrong with dyno, done in 5th gear. Mine is the only one where I've seen the torque higher. Any ideas why the torque is so high and not the hp?

I just wish I had high HP numbers to go with the torque. A buddy of mine had 388 rwhp stock but even his torque wasn't as high. Every car is different, maybe my factory tune was good. I just put on gt500 axle back exhaust and soon will be getting a JLT intake and dyno tune. I'm definitely curious to see what those results will be. If the torque is still higher, I'll be stumped but definitely not complaining.

If you are that concerned, go to another shop that also has a dynojett and get your car pulled there so you can compare. If Ford listed the car at 412 HP, then the average dyno is going to be 370rwhp or so, some a little less, some a little more.
Getting higher torque is good from the point of view of acceleration speed. It almost looks like your Torque and Horsepower have been reversed according to average pulls I've seen for your car online. Maybe the Dynojett was dislexic. Erik

Like I've said before......I really put zero into dyno's. I had an 08 GT/CS M90 make 400whp (it only makes 435bhp) and my new Boss 302 with a CAI/tune (probably making around 475bhp) only made 396whp on the same dyno. I know for a fact having owned/driven these two cars this Boss is faster than the supercharged 08 GT/CS but it didn't show on the dyno and both AFR were 12.5:1 at the tailpipe.

Dynojets are set differently at different times even by the same shops. The numbers are varied depending on smoothing calculations, humidity and exact air temp. A Boss having 475 flywheel HP being N/A should have pulled around 417rwhp, so a 396rwhp tells me there was heat soak, higher air temps or humidity. Your Boss being custom tuned with CAI is a faster car than an 08 only making 400rwhp supercharged.
All I know is after having driven a few new 5.0's at rated 412 HP, and my 06' Mustang GT back when it was @ 4.5psi making 435hp, my 06 felt and was faster than the 5.0
Now that I have had 14.5 psi with a 2.85 pulley(505rwhp), 12 psi with a 3.2 pulley(475rwhp), and now at 10psi with a 3.4 pulley(454rwhp/442trq)
I can honestly say with my and my Mustang friends experience, that properly calibrated dynojets, pulling cars that are warmed up but not heat soaked, on average humidity days with air temperatures around 72 degrees, derive very accurate results, and do translate into fairly accurate gauges of speed and acceleration. The problem is that dynoes in most shops have such wide variables day to day, the results are only consistent with properly set elevation, consistent same air temps and humidity, and engine cool down periods.
