Default Help with a tune???

I have a 10 gt and bought it used with o/r x pipe installed but jlt cold air intake and tuner in the trunk. I want to put the cai on finally and obviously with the tune but how would i know if the tune includes the x pipe in it. If i upload the tune and then put the cai on and it throws no code then im good, and if it does throw a cel then obviously the x pipe isnt in the tune???

you can always adjust it in the settings. (turn 02 sensors off in the back) If the tune does not include the X pipe, it's safe to say the CEL will come on.

The tuner strictly just turns the CEL off nothing else.

What kind of tuner is it? With an SCT you can't shut off the rear O2's yourself. The actual tune has to do that.

sct x3...would they already be shut off if the x pipe is on and there is no cel?? should i just go install the cai and put the tune on and see if it throws a cel?...and if does not throw a cel would that mean the tune is fine?

If the X-pipe is on with no CEL, then they are shut off in the tune. Why was the CAI off the car? Put it on and see if you get a CEL or it if runs horrible or not at all. The tune has to be matched to the CAI.

Hey you could have scored some nice Brenspeed tunes there. Install the CAI and load that tune. If you dont know how to load a tune just go to brenspeeds site as they have a video that shows you how to do it.
