Default Thanks Other Hurst Owners

I lifted the center console and added that Break Free lubricant to the top of the the ball pivot of the shifter. It's been a few days now and no more rattle!! In the past, it would do it at any speed in 3rd gear, now, nothing! Nice easy fix.

I've read where this hasn't worked for others. Maybe they didn't put in enough of it. I laid it on pretty thick when I did it.

Anyhow, thanks for the easy fix! And yes, I know, MGW is the real fix, LOL! That was coming if this didn't work.

I'm glad that worked out for you. Nice easy fix. And a bottle of Break Free is a good thing to have around anyway.
