Default Bolts

This will be a tough question to answer, I am in the process of doing a v6 - v8 swap, some of the parts that came with the motor didn't come with all the bolts.
I checked fordpartsgiant.com and they have bolts for various parts, but no diagrams or definitive descriptions of where they go. Does anyone know where there is a decent breakdown of the engine. Also, I'm looking for the crossover tube bolts, tensioner pulley bolts, power steering bolts, a/c compressor bolts, starter bolts. I wish I could just carry the motor to the store, unfortunately it is just a little too heavy. So if anyone has something that I have not seen yet I would appreciate it.

Go to a dealer? They can look up diagrams of the engine block blown up with parts and maybe they will print you a list of the parts and numbers they are and you can match the part numbers online.

Lol throw that biatch in the trunk and take up to autozone!

Do you have a thread going with the build? I really can't wait to do this myself, just don't have the money to yet. But I would love to subscribe to yours for future reference.

That's a last resort option for me, the local ford is absolutely terrible, they always send people to a bigger dealership for help, since they don't want to deal with it.

I will be creating a thread when I get closer to the engine install, in the meantime I will be taking pictures of the parts that install and the work I have done. Right now the engine has been painted red with black valve covers. I won't be doing the swap until the end of the summer since it is the most hectic time of the year here.

Try this site. When you get to a specific page click the View Image and then when you click on part numbers it gives specifics. I have found it very helpful.
