Default Any custom shift ***** for automatics?

Does anyone know if there are any custom shift ***** for us with automatics? I'm sure the answer is most likely no, but I guess I may as well give it a shot. It would be really neat if there was, I was checking out some custom shift boots and I thought they looked bad ***, but it just doesn't look as good on an auto trans as it does with a manual.

Not sure about the 2010+ shifters, but I too share in interest in getting a new shifter (I hate the jumbo jet plastic throttle lever on my car) and looked around and the only thing you can really do is get the TCI ratchet shifter and swap out the ball with a few other choices (I hated the 8 ball personally)...

Very pricey alternative, and other than that and the cheap american muscle **** trim (I believe only for the 05-09 autos) there really wasn't anything on the market.

Not sure if the 2010s have the newer shifters, but I really hope you have better luck finding something than me.

I've only seen that TCI shifter for 05-09 autos, but I haven't seen anything at all for 2010+ autos. I actually like the plastic premium auto shifter on the 05-09 more than the rubber shifter on the 10+. I parked a Mercedes at my job and at first sight I though it was a manual cuz it had a round shift **** and the leather shift boot. Turned out to be an automatic. I thought it was bad *** that it looks like a manual shifter.

TCI now makes their shifter for the 2010+, but the price is high as always. I have the TCI shifter in my 2007 mustang and I waited for several years after it came out for the price to come down before I purchased it. The billet T handle gets ripping hot in the summer, so I swapped it out for a ball shifter with an Army Retired Lapel Pin molded into it. I think Brenspeed now has the 2010+ TCI shifter.....

I'm not really a fan of the TCI shifter though. I was looking for something that'll make it look like a manual shifter.

Hey, aaquib, I think I found something you may be interested in.

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...er-design.html

Sorry, I don't mean to drag you onto another forum, but this is what I found through a Google search. A guy on that forum custom makes these shifters for automatics. This is the exact thing I had in mind! Unfortunately for me (and maybe fortunately for you), it seems as his design is only for 05-09 Mustangs and it's affordable. You may wanna go through that thread, a lot of useful info about his product. If only he can design it for 2010+ Mustangs...

Also, it turns out he was selling them on this forum a couple years ago.

You'll see that some members actually bought them, more notably Cutterwolf. Seems like the seller is no longer around on this forum or on AFM though.
