Why? Because it has 49k miles??? There was a time when domestics weren't worth their price in scrap after 75k miles but 49k is nothing for domestics these days. Financial issues I could understand but not because it has 49k miles. I don't even CONSIDER getting rid of my Toyotas before 200k miles.

My job requires alot of travelling and I am racking up to many miles in a short amount of time I really hate to sesll it as it is a sharp car.

I have a sales job which requires lots of travelling, Ma to pennsylvania sometimes twice a week, new york, conn, RI you name it I have to go there and when I fly I will have to leave it in the airport just not practical and don't want it hurt if you know what I mean, great driver gets alot of looks.

Then don't sell it. You'll probably lose in the long run. Put pencil-to-paper and see, using fuel savings vs. what you'd lose in the trade/sale. My GT isn't my DD but I use it on long trips because it gets about 4 MPG on the highway at 70+ MPH more than my V6 SUV gets. Unless you can save about $100/month of fuel, the cost of replacing the vehicle can be a lose-lose situation. Think hard before you make a move.
