Default Got my wheels widened

Got my wheels widened on my 07 GT, an inch and a half towared the inside and put 305/40/18's on. They fit great and look good, they don't stick out, because the same 50mm offset is used. I still have about three quarter to about one inch clearence before rubbing the front part of the frame.

On my 2011 my 295/30/20 were very close to rubbing part of the frame , but only when raised up off the ground. They are mabe 1/8th an inch from touching metal. When lowered onto the ground though theres quite a bit of clearance. Is this the same as yours or is the 3/4 inch clearance when the tires are on the ground with the cars weight on them?? Did yours actually touch the frame when the car is lifted up? What size are the wheels now?

The wheels are 18X10 now. I only lifted it by the axel, never let the wheels hang, so I dont know if they are closer to the frame that way. Will try to post pic, never done that before.

The best thing to do is to start a photobucket, imgur, or imageshack account and upload them to that site, then post the link here between [img] [/img] tags

I think most of the issue with going over 305 is rubbing on the rear sway bar/brackets.
