Didn't Ford abandon the Mustang's heritage in the early and mid-70's? How'd that work out? Not so well, as the "Cruise ship" 71-73 and the ill-fated Mustang II showed. I'd prefer that they just cloned the '70 model with modern underpinnings and be done with it.
Then again, I'm a dinosaur so what do I know? I think Justin Biebers are small animals who live in ponds and chew down trees to make dams. :-)

Despite being a pathetic example of a sports car, the Mustang II was a huge financial and sales success. Not to worry though, as I said earlier in the thread, the 2015 mustang DEFINITELY WILL NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THE CONCEPT AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS THREAD, which Ford had nothing to do with.
