Yeah, the pzero nero don't have enough grip to wear out. I spun those for 38,000 miles and finally had enough.

Thanks for all the great feedback! Seems like this may not be too unusual. The wear was pretty even across the tire. I will probably replace them very soon with one of the other tires recommended on this forum. btw - I live in South Florida.

Thanks again for the help - greatly appreciated.

Well, you should have mentioned that in the first post... That explains it all then...

As I understand the problem, the reason your tires have gone before their time is because of all the HOT! ladies on the beaches there and that hotness just permeates to the pavement causing the rubber to literally melt and be left on the road... No wonder you need to replace the tires... Of course this is based on the premise that you post plenty of pics of said hawt babes in bikinis, 2 piece of course.

Glad I could help,

Don

I got 14,000 out of mine. They were down right dangerous by the time I took them off. Only about a 1/16" left per the wear indicators. Seems to be normal for this tire. I hoped I would get 20k out of them but, no luck. I drove 80% conservative and 20% bonzai, fwiw. I replaced them with Nitto Invo's. I hope they last 20k or more.

I'm pushing 28k on my all-seasons. 11k was by me, the other 17k was from the original owner.

Need to get new ones...

The Pzero's aren't a summer only tire as far as I know and 16K on them is really low.
The P-Zero is an all summer tire, it states right in my manual to not drive in temperatures under 40 degrees, most guys are getting about 15-20k on them. I think a lot of you guys are confusing them with the P-Zero Nero that run about $200, the P-Zero are about $450 a pop.

220 Treadwear - not good for much. The P-Zero summer tires that came on my Brembo are great for traction, but $356 a piece is HIGH.

Yeah, $1600ish for 10-15k miles... when mine are worn, I won't be replacing them with another set of P-Zeroes. They are great tires though. You have to try to spin them. That's pretty incredible to me, with 412 hp on tap.

I got around 15,000. I replaced them with Michelin Pilot A/S plus...and couldn't be happier! Well worth the $$ for my daily driver.
