Default Is this ok to do?

I'm about to change my diff fluid and the ford friction modifier comes in a bottle with a pretty large cap, preventing me from putting an adapter or a hose on it to pump it into the fill hole. Can I just dump the contents into the RP oil bottle, and then pump it in? It's all going in the same place anyway, should be a problem right?
Would It be better to shake up the oil bottle to mix the modifier and the oil before pumping?
